In this charcoal portrait study of Mia, I concentrated on her expressive eyes, softly rounded cheeks, and thoughtful expression.
Using charcoal, I explored the subtle transitions of light and shadow across her face, contrasting the delicate modeling of her features with the darker, more spontaneous strokes of her hair.
I left portions of the clothing and decorative bow loosely indicated, keeping the emphasis on Mia's face and the individuality of her expression.
