For more than forty years, Dr. Cohen has been a familiar and reassuring presence in my life as the veterinarian who has cared for my beloved animals. His kindness, compassion, and dedication have made him someone I hold close to my heart. Working from a photograph I took of him, I wanted to capture the warmth of his expression and the caring nature of a man who has meant so much to me over the years. I later gifted him this portrait as a token of my appreciation. His delighted reaction, proudly sharing it with people throughout his office and calling me afterward to express his gratitude, made the experience all the more meaningful.
