Here I Come!

Original Graphite Portrait

The boundless curiosity and enthusiasm of early childhood come to life in this graphite portrait, created from a photograph provided by the child's mother.

With his bright expression, outstretched hands, and determined crawling pose, this little explorer seems ready to take on the world.

I was particularly drawn to the sense of movement and the opportunity to capture both his joyful expression and the delicate details of this fleeting stage of childhood.

The older brother of Joseph, whose portrait is featured in The Purest Joy, he brings his own unique personality to this drawing.

Two brothers, two expressions of childhood happiness, each preserved in a lasting work of art.
