I was drawn to this quiet, unposed moment as she sat in the living room, completely absorbed in the screen of her phone, seemingly unaware of everyone around her.
What first caught my attention was the beautiful interplay of light and shadow—the way the light illuminated her hair and face against the surrounding darkness. Her intent expression and the contrast of values presented an opportunity I couldn't resist capturing in a photograph.
Through this drawing, I wanted to preserve not only her likeness, but the atmosphere of that fleeting moment when she was entirely in a world of her own.
