Tigger - A Survivor's Spirit

Tigger was my special boy, a beautiful, long-haired cat with a magnificent, feather-duster tail and a personality all his own. Diagnosed with cancer at a very young age, he underwent chemotherapy treatments that helped him for approximately seven years. He was quite a character and even became one of the favorites at the veterinary cancer treatment hospital where he received his care.

In this watercolor portrait, I wanted to capture his magnificent golden eyes, the rich warmth of his orange fur, and the distinctive character that made him so special. The intimate composition and deep, contrasting background draw attention to his thoughtful gaze.

More than simply a portrait of a beloved companion, this painting is a tribute to Tigger, his remarkable spirit, and the treasured years we shared.
